How Hunter Students Fare In the College Process
In recent years (classes of 2002 through 2007), nearly 99% of Hunter’s students have gone on to college, and about 25% of these students accept admission into an Ivy League school. In 2006-2007, 73 of the graduating seniors were accepted into the Ivy League schools, constituting approximately 40% of the whole grade. Students are asked to consider a wider breathe of schools than just the ones mentioned. HCHS has consistently come out on top (according to several publications) in terms of its students’ acceptance rates at elite colleges.
