CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR MATHCOUNTS TEAM!

We’re #1!!  Our team (Thomas Dumbach, Ada Huang, Alberto San Miguel Malaney, and Dan Wang) finished in first place at the MATHCOUNTS Manhattan Chapter Competition on Saturday, February 6th They attended the competition along with our “B” team, Dean Deng, Natasha Narang, Eric Mei and Sophia Siu.  Four of our students finished in the top ten:  Thomas was first, Ada was fourth, Dean was fifth and Natasha was 8th.  Congratulations to our mathletes on a job well done!

Thomas, Ada, Alberto, and Dan will go on to represent Hunter at the MATHCOUNTS State Competition at RPI on March 13 and Dean will travel with the team as an alternate.
